Full decontamination will be required if a member of your staff, public or contractors has been diagnosed or suspected to have Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please inform us straight away as attending technicians will need to take necessary precautions. Coronavirus can live up to 72 hours on surfaces at room temperature. Thus it is essential to secure all areas of your facility that may have come into contact with the infected person; this will help prevent further cross-contamination and infection. When the facility is clear, we can start by disinfecting touchpoints and high traffic areas, followed by a full Anti-Viral ULV Fogging of the facility with Formula 429 plus 'gold standard' used by the NHS killing 99.9999 % of bacteria within 15 seconds. Once Fogged, the facility can be put back into use after 30 minutes. Documentation is essential, and we will provide you with a full report and certificate of completion detailing the Technician's Names, PPE, COSHH, Risk/Method Statements, Cleaning Specifications, Checklists and Photos. The local Health Protection Team will advise on arrangements for follow up required 14 days after the cleaning process. Employers should keep in mind that you cannot be expected to eliminate all risks but must do everything reasonable and practicable to protect people from harm section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
